DECEPTIONS: Some Thoughts about Human Survival

	As acres of wildlife become prime property
	& battles across the world increase
	millions starve as some feast
	& merchants of death
	dance for prosperity

	"How long can we
	haägendaaaaz like this?"
	I wonder
	. . . yet . . .
	to those firmly glued to TV sets
	or hi-resolution computer screens
	such questions elicit
	yawns

	Will our population
	wake up in time
	before a cataclysm dawns?


Terri: I dunno. In every age there've been prophets of doom, but somehow humanity survives.

Tim:   Survival is just part of the issue.

Kris:  We've got to achieve a higher standard.

Sam:   (shrugging his shoulders) Who needs altruistic head trips? 
       Most people only care bout dare own asses.

Tim:   The whole planet is part of our ass.
