Robotic Reflections

Who said emotions
are alien to androids?

Are they unique to carbon life?

Are humans arrogant enough
to imagine such features as theirs alone
and suppose other creatures
lack compassion or strife?

I have learned what it feels like
to save a few civilizations
while watching others fall back to a
pre-industrial stage

I have observed many life forms
and watched them
populate/depopulate space

No species can claim uniquenss:
each is precious in its own way.

Bill: (yawning) Ah, this is boring bunk!
Liao Actually, it is interesting how the author envisions one part of his imagined self as an android.
