Miok:    It's a pity when ideology gets in the way of love . . .

Tim:     Yeah. The blindness of love is part of its beauty.

Chris:   Isn't that the reason it is mistrusted?

Miok:    I think so. And no matter how much we try to regulate, legislate or remediate 
         the impulse to love, it continually baffles our expectations.

Chris:   How many have paid the price for loving in ways that aren't officially sanctioned?

Tim:     Yeah, each society has its own taboos and as a consequence, and its own martyrs . . .
         Sometimes people who despised in one society might, in a different culture in some
         seemingly parallel universe be highly respected.
