Currently I teach in the Department of Economics at Toyo University in Tokyo. Established over a hundred years ago, this university has over twelve faculties and about thirty thousand students today. I teach one graduate level course in language teacher education and six English courses at the Hakusan campus of this university.

From 2004 - 2004 I taught at Nanzan Junior College in Nagoya, Japan. Once a Catholic junior college for women, in 2011 it became part of Nanzan University.

Prior to that I taught at Ming Chuan University, an private educational facility with campuses in Taipei and Tao-Yuan (northern Taiwan). Established in 1957, this university was at originally a business junior college. Gradually it expanded and today it has about ten thousand students with faculties of Management, Law, Design and Applied Languages. I taught writing, debate skills, and oral communication classes at this facility.

From 1992 to 1998 I taught at the Tokai University of Marine Science. Located 50 km. from Mt. Fuij in Shizuoka City, (Shizuoka Prefecture), it has about two thousand students and ten foreign language instructors.
