APPLE SEEDS: Thoughts on Human Potential

	From a single seed
	how many apples trees 
	might someday turn green? 

	Our small minds fail to digest
	the pith of such questions:

	Perhaps we must dream deeply
	to begin get answers. 

	Within the flesh of each moment 
	so many orchards of possibilities exist!

	When the soil is right 
	& sun is not too bright
	some dreams take root.

	Yet others might become 
	morsels for hungry worms
	and voracious molds 
	mutating in the night. 

	Of seeds, 
	what certainty exists?
