GLOBAL ISSUES: Thoughts on the Teachability of Ethical Values

	Can global issues be taught
	to those hankering for Disneyland?

	Or sustainable living be learned
	to those hungering for more money in hand?

	What do lessons on nutrition matter
	for those frequenting burger stands?

	If our actions today don't seem to matter
	will our progeny end up in garbage cans?


Satoru:  (scratching his head) I'm not sure how to answer these questions.　

Tim:     Who actually can? However, that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

Liao:    I think this author has made a serious oversight.

Melissa: (sighing and looking away) What's that?

Liao:    Each day our actions do matter.
