It's all too easy to pass through most schools with minimal deep learning. Many schools seems       are but factories producing Mickey-Mouse consumers. Melissa: Isn't that what the system wants? Tim: Television already does an adequate job of making people dumber than       they need to be. The ancient Greeks knew that real education meant       something quite different. Liao: (chuckling to himself) As if the ancient Greeks actually agreed about        such things! At any rate, I think we have to accept that schools are        not perfect. Neither is our society.
