	Many people are under the spell of televisions
	or of political views

	Many are enchanted by religions
	or by money's allure

	For some love is a tantalizing potion
	To others nothing 's better than booze

	Some find corporate power tantalizing
	Others enjoy being epicures

	Perhaps all persons
	are under some sort of spell:
	we're all addicts of sorts
	shaping our own heavens or hells


Wan-Sze:  Has there ever been a more ingenious brain-suck tool than television?

Nadia: 	  Well, the Internet is coming close . . .

Will:     Blaming our problems on such devices is a cop-out. The truth is
          most people are all too eager to surrender their intellects 
          and the entertainment industry knows this keenly.
