Monkey Business
Some thoughts about human existence
You'z already crazy
There are masters around this planet
helping people discover
the art of transcending pain
You'z free ta enjoy monkey business
but were born for nobler aims
At some point
bananas will seem boring
& you'll become curious about
what's beyond jungle glades
Do all monkeys wake up
from arboreal reveries
why not become sane?
& confront the naked truth
existence continues
perfectly without us?
I am unsure.
