    If the words of your life
    seem oddly arranged
    or the letters of your existence
    don't fit any page

    Don't worry –
    The Scissors of Time 
    take care of such problems 
    cutting easily through all shapes

    Labels such as "wise" or "foolish"
    have no meaning to Death's Blades

    Both rich and poor fall easily
    between the adamantine Scissors of Age,
    & soon enough 
    the Edges of Eternity
    slice through every boundary 

    Notice how the Blades of Time
    shear existence itself:
    in this world 
    can anything offer reprieve?
