LOVE GRAMMAR: Studying the Syntax of the Heart

	Most people get their grammar wrong:

	Love 's a verb – nut a noun.
	Its object izn't important
	an' gender haz many forms.

	It haz no possessive, past,
	err future –
	unly a prezent continuous
	flaunting syntactic normz.

	Love iz flexible
	an' better thun morphine.

	It mutatez glamor
	makez eloquent people stammer n
	helpz those who never studied syntax
	achieve smoothness
	without vaseline


Aiko:    Isn't this guy making fun of love?

Bai-Luo: Absolutely. Anyone who takes love seriously is in serious trouble.

Aiko:    But if we jest about love, what is serious?

Bai-Luo: Only death.

Cindy:   Why not the other way around? Why not be light about death, but serious about love?

Bai-Luo: I never thought of it that way.
