To Whom It May Concern:
I take pleasure in introducing Mr. Tim Newfields to you.
During his stay in Shizuoka, Japan he has worked part time as an
English instructor for our association and as an examiner for the
United Nations Association Test of English (UNATE), which is
administered locally by our organization, for seven years. He has
also given various speeches in Japanese to community groups.
During a summer 1996 seminar I observed some of Mr. Newfields
classes and he was interested in ways to encourage even reticent
students to speak. Mr. Newfields has demonstrated not only an
enthusiasm for teaching English, but also for promoting international
understanding. Based on his record of solid performance at our
office, I am happy to recommend him for gainful employment in
which ever community he decides to relocate to.
Sincerely,
Hotaka Suzuki
Managing Director
Shizuoka Association for International Relations
