Satoru: |
Did you enjoy the book? |
Melissa: |
(yawning) Not really. The dude is zany, but too preachy at times. |
Satoru: |
I like to remember Mark Twain's words: we're all missionaries in some sense.
This guy was merely examining his own worldview, not demanding others believe
it. I don't agree with some of things he says, but parts of it resonate. |
Melissa: |
That Newfields fellow is a loose cannon: some of his comments are right on,
but others hit far off the mark. |
Tim: |
(shrugging his shoulders) Most things we read are apt to seem that way.
Perhaps the author probably didn't take his own words so seriously. Much of
the text is, in fact, indiscernible. What I like about this book is how the
boundary between text and image seem fluid. |

(nodding) Anyway, a few ideas got through. |
