Bai-Luo:   Indeed. Passion easily makes fools of us all.
Aiko:   (chuckling) Isn't there a way to enjoy the play of romance without getting lost in it?
Bai-Luo:   I'm not sure, but for some the fun is in getting lost . . . in a sense, I suppose that's one form of transcendence!
