ACT City Hamamatsu:
Blending Music and Art
My first translation job was a Japanese/English photo album about
a civic complex in Hamamatsu, Japan. This album included 77 color photos taken at various angles near (or at) this building complex.
The ACT City complex includes a hotel, office spaces, a convention centre, extensive shopping arcades,
and a museum of musical instruments. This facility was opened on
October 8, 1994 and was regarded as one of the best-integrated architectural projects in central Japan.
