Work in pairs with a partner:
	Person A:  You are a police officer. Listen and help your partner.

	Person B:  You are a tourist in  Italy. All of your valuables have been stolen by a
               man with a pistol on a motor scooter.  Ask the police for help.

I. COMMON MISTAKES
Correct these errors individually, then discuss them in class:
     1.  *He is a theft.  2. *Clime is a big problem there. 3. *My bag was stole.

J. FURTHER DISCUSSION
Discuss these questions in small groups:

	1.  How dangerous is your neighborhood at night?
	2.  What sort of crimes are common around here?
	3.  How common is robbery in your hometown?	 
	4.  What kind of weapons do you have?
	5.  Are you a criminal?
	6.  Have you ever shoplifted?
	7.  Has your bicycle ever been stolen?
	8.  Have you ever stolen a bicycle?
	9.  How many times have you been arrested?
	10. Continue to ask more questions. Sample patterns:
