When You Love - a pictoral poem by T Newfields
Cantara: Hopelessly idealistic, wouldn't you say?
Miok: (pretending to be interested in the conversation) A certain amount of idealism is probably healthy.
Cantara: Yet it's blind . . . idealists often ignore the suffering around them.
Tim: That's true, but perhaps all human perception is inevitably distorted to some degree.
Chris: (spitting out sum' watermelon seeds) Yep! We've gotta be humble 'bout our knowing.
